Slow Cooker Beef & Mushrooms

Another recipe inspired by Dinners Done Right and a family favorite! We serve this with hot buttered egg noodles.

1 1/2 lbs beef (I use stew meat)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
12 ounces sliced mushrooms
1 envelope beefy onion soup mix

Combine all ingredients and add to slow cooker. Cook on Low 3 to 5 hours or until done.

By the way, one of my favorite kitchen products is the slow cooker liner. Look for it with the aluminum foil, plastic wrap, etc. It makes it so easy to clean up!

I have GOT to get a new slow cooker - I think it would especially come in handy when I'm out of town and Dad has to fend for himself.

This is one of our favorites too! I add an extra can of soup and a 1/2 cup of apple juice (for a little zip) or just water to make it a little more saucy!

Finally tried this after all this time, and it was yummy. I had to do some substitutes for the soup mix, beef bouillon and dried onions, and it worked well.
