"A Few of My Favorite Things" Bagel Pizzas

Here's a recipe from my sister-in-law Lisa. I sure miss having Einstein's around, but we've got some OK bagels we can use. I love the idea of pizza on a bagel. Thanks Lisa!

A Few of My Favorite Things” Bagel Pizzas

Easy-to-make; easy-to-accommodate-a-whole-lot-of-different-tastes

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees (you can go lower or higher, if you like)

  1. Slice your favorite “plain” bagel in half (e.g., an Einstein’s wheat bagel; a sesame seed bagel)

  1. Spread with your favorite bottled spaghetti sauce (e.g., Ragu Seven Herb) or another spread (e.g., pesto)

  1. Top with your favorite toppings—pepperoni, Canadian bacon, hamburger (browned and drained), pineapple, green peppers, tomato slices, onion slices, black olives, mushrooms, hamburger—and grated mozzarella cheese

  1. Bake on 400 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes, or until the toppings are heated through and the cheese is melted

  1. Enjoy!

Serving size: Each bagel makes two pizzas

Extras: Consider serving with a great salad and watching the Sound Of Music

We sure love these. My husband wanted to start a tradition of having pizza every Friday (something that gets a little old for me, but that he and the kids LOVE). We also like to make mini pizza's out of rhodes rolls. It is fun for Gracie to be able to flatten the dough herself and put whatever she wants on her own pizza!

I've got a couple of beef recipes that are hits around our house that I'd love to share.
